What is MWC Barcelona?
MWC Barcelona is the world’s largest and most influential annual event dedicated to the connectivity ecosystem. The Congress serves as a meeting point for global mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers and vendors, content owners, and other key players in the digital industry.
When does it take place?
MWC Barcelona 2026 will be held from March 2 to March 5.
Before the event, we recommend being at the Spain Pavilion on Sunday, March 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for stand reception.

During the Congress, we recommend arriving at your stand by 8:00 a.m., 30 minutes before visitor entry.
Who organizes it?
GSMA has been organizing MWC since 1990, with Barcelona as its host city since 2006. It also promotes other flagship events in the connectivity industry, such as MWC Shanghai and MWC Las Vegas, in which Red.es has actively participated in numerous editions.

What is the Spain Pavilion?
The Spain Pavilion is the meeting point to discover Spain’s great potential in the field of technology. In this edition, the Pavilion will feature 50 technology-based companies that represent the country’s high level of innovation. It also serves as a stage for intensive institutional activity by the Government of Spain, in its effort to identify synergies and share success stories with other countries. In addition, it offers an outstanding conference program and an ambitious networking agenda.
What is the purpose of the Spain Pavilion?
The Spain Pavilion aims to promote the participation and visibility of Spanish technology SMEs at MWC, the most important event in the connectivity industry.
In this space, companies have a personalized stand to showcase their products and hold meetings, while also benefiting from an extensive range of services and activities throughout the Congress.
Where is the Spain Pavilion located?
The Spain Pavilion is located in two adjacent areas (4C30 and 4B40) in Hall 4 of Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via venue.
Who organizes the Spain Pavilion?
Red.es, a public corporate entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service through the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, has been organizing the Spain Pavilion at MWC Barcelona since 2013.
In addition to supporting Spanish companies in the technology sector, Red.es leads various programs to promote the digital economy, entrepreneurship, the efficient and intensive use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), training, e-government, and the development of smart cities and regions.
What sections make up the Spain Pavilion?
Main reception
The central welcome and information point of the Pavilion, where visitors are guided, and the main access and coordination tasks for the space are managed.
Secondary reception
A support point for the main reception, designed to provide localized assistance and streamline circulation and service within the Pavilion.
Conference set
An area equipped to host the conference program activities (round tables and presentations). It may also accommodate networking activities requiring a space of these characteristics.
Stands
Spaces of at least 7 m² assigned to each of the 50 exhibiting companies to showcase their products, welcome visitors, and hold meetings comfortably with up to four people.
EFE set
An area designated for a news agency that will operate from this space, collaborating with Red.es to enhance the visibility of the Pavilion and the content generated from its presence within MWC26.
Podcast set
An area equipped for recording audio content to promote the Pavilion’s visibility and the content derived from its participation in MWC26.
Interview set
An area designed for recording interviews to enhance the Pavilion’s outreach and share content produced in the context of MWC26.
Demonstration point
A section designed to offer Pavilion visitors an innovative, technology-based experience featuring elements provided by third parties.
Networking area
A reserved space for the exclusive use of exhibiting companies and authorities, as well as their guests. This area is dedicated to establishing professional connections and holding business meetings in an informal setting, with continuous catering service. It includes all the necessary elements for optimal use (digital access control, waitstaff, seating, tables, service bars, back bars, kitchen, storage, etc.).

A section dedicated to showcasing the results of Red.es’s activities.
Meeting rooms
Two rooms with exclusive access for exhibiting companies and authorities, intended for formal meetings with their guests.
